K i just made this thread because i see different people in our world have different views of how they follow their faiths.

Well as a Muslim i believe ' Islam is the religion of humanity and preaches love ' unity and happiness amongst us . Then why when ever we walk past hindus ' or sikhs or muslims ' we have to make horrible faces ' y when a bombing happens in mumbai ' some muslim support it ' are we divided by religion :(

Before you give your views' Understand God made us all different and we all have different ' views respect them ' either put up ! or shut up !

woa hold up - i'm not an atheist!!! - I do believe in a God for sure, but i dont believe in the religions in this world, there is a difference!

and i agree that being an atheist would make life pretty dull...

I also think that some take religion too seriously to the point where it brainwashes ppl...(lets blow shit up !! or...lets invade countries in the name of jesus !!)

If we look at Islam it started off really well, and the faith actually spawned the most free and liberal societies early on...but eventually (especially after Israel became a country)...Islam has become one of those religions that influences crazy shit...I mean, this Imam came to Australia and said things to muslims like "if they are not muslim then they are not your friends"...and all kinds of other nasty things...

So no...i don't think Religion = humanity ....i think they are completely different and can exist separately..

#Religious inhumane societies
#Non-Religious inhumane societies
#Non-religious Humane societies....

No where in the Bible did Jesus say "Kill the Infidels!!". Anyways, I think there will always be religions, or at least some sort of highly developed 'religion' in the future. Science is a little like religion, right? I mean, for some things, you do require faith until evidence appears or doesn't, which then disproves the theory. In fact, it can even sometimes brainwash people too.
