He makes it seem like its all a breeze to him, smooth transitional goals and you'll notice that he's not great because he scores goals, he's great because he makes perfect oppurtunities and he's very unselfish with the ball.

I think we should feel lucky because we witnessed a soccer legend in the making from the mid 90's to his retirement I know I feel lucky that I got to watch this great player develop into a legend

italy look strong as a unit and they got a really mean defence. i predict the following:

1) Henry will go mental and inspire frenchies to victory with zizu bossing midfield

As far as Im concerned I think its a bridge too far. at 34 he cant do it all himself, not against a team so strong in defence as italy. Henry is the key to glory for the french or its gonna go to pens again. And with Barthez in goal, Im not too sure...

yeah, I think if the game had gone into overtime, the Portugese would have scored, Zidane of course played beautiful football, the French team was playing sloppy though and giving the ball away too easily. Barthez scared me a bit with some of his lucky saves.

I've seen Rooney play on the club level and his speed is impressive, but he sucked during this world cup. It was a shame to see Owen go out the way he did though.

As i sed before. he was coming back after 6 wks out with a broken foot, playing in a 4-5-1 system by himself. His poor show was a result of a lack of match fitness, bad luck getting injured in the first place and crap management.

And yeh, as soon as Owen went home, it made the whole team suffer. Why cause there didnt seem to be a plan B. Hence crap management!

Rooney will come good. He will be as influencial for England as Zizou has been for France, mark my words. The only thing stopping him is himself. He needs to get more clever, off the ball.
