I think both teams could go away with their heads held high. End to end game, good play from both teams and most of all FAIR FUCKING PLAY on the whole.

Both teams had fouls committed on them, but they just got up and got on with it. That's what everyone likes to see, fair play and none of this play acting bullshit. The referee has had a great game too and kept the cards in his pocket unless he has to.

I'm not really an Italian fan, cuz they usually play too defensively and with too many play actors, but to their credit they have proved a lot of people wrong, including me!

Take notes Portugal!! And I dont think I'm alone in feeling that they are the new whiny bitches of football.

So big up yourselves Italy AND Germany. Both of them played well enough to make the final and can both go home knowing they represented their countries with a bit of honour and pride.
