Yeah, since the NBA finals have been over over, I don't feel like watching sports anymore. Maybe i should watch a few games too...but soccer isn't appealing to me - it's boring.....they barely score.....ughh.

But it's actually really fun.

My dad and I did a stop over in Frankfurt. Germany for 2 days. And all we did was go to the football games. More than actually WATCHING the games, we had alot more fun with the energy and how excited everyone got in watching the games. I mean, for the people who never really even like football, I know what your talking about. Trust me, I used to despise the sport. But after having that first hand experience of watching 4 - 5 games in a city that had been literally taken over by the world cup... it was pretty fucking rad.

Going to live sporting events is a different story altogether. YOu can feel the electricity in the arena/stadium.......but watchin certain sports on tv is a bore-fest.

Your all forgetting the World Cup is probably the World’s most prestigious sporting occasion just behind the Olympics. It comes around every four years, you almost need to be involved with a country that really admires and appreciates the game of FOOTBALL to understand. (Having a good league in it is always a bonus)

America is certainly not one of those, so I can understand you’re huge disinterest in the tournament.

There is usually never any build-up to the world cup out here - but i did hear a little bit this year. This year's team was supposedly our best of all time, but i believe they lost in the 2nd round? We do get excited about the Olympics but that is because we know we are gonna take most of the medals - so its pretty exciting.
