With Big Ben in town, the Bulls become the instant favorite to knock out the defending champion heat. Last year Bulls played the Heat the toughest of any team in the East. Now with Ben, things might be a little different:
My list of best teams in the NBA right now:
East
4)Bulls
5)Heat
6)Cavs
West
1)Spurs
2)Mavs
3)Phoenix
Thoughts?

when tyrus thomas and wallace are in the lineup at the same time, teams wont even think about shooting from closer than 20 feet....and then hinrich and nocioni with awesome perimimeter defense will totally frustrate opponents

damnit man dont jinx it:p
but yea im hype about the bulls right now, havent felt like about them this since 99... still need a guy who can score in the low post, having both ben and chandler on the floor at the same time is an offensive nightmare. hopefully they can move chandler for boozer, but ive been hearing itll be pj brown. if its boozer, this team is instantly elite.

dude. the bulls BETTER keep tyson he wont hurt us b/c we averaged 97.8 a game last year anyway. add bens 3 ppg and we easily score 100 a game. not to mention his badass defense. bulls are now easily the best team in the east. and rightfully so.

bulls are almost certainly gonna move tyson and its actually a great move by paxson if he can trade him for pj brown.....first we get rid of chandlers huge contract and 2nd, brown is in the last year of his 8 million dollar a year deal so bulls will have cap room even after this coming season which they can use to sign the nucleus to contract extensions...pj brown can rebound and has offensive game unlike chandler and he brings veteran leadership.....and besides next year is supposed to be a great draft for big men and bulls will most likely get another top 5 pick because they can swap with the knicks..... they can use that pick to draft greg oden, joakim noah, roy hibbert, or some other big guy.....future looks bright and so does the present....paxson is a genius

paxson is the best current nba gm hands down.
i really want that kg trade to go down tho, ben will 36 by the end of his contract, we need to get the elite superstar NOW! and nba is different from nfl. in basketball u dont win it all without that stud player, screw depth. only exception is the pistons, got a title but soon after they were exposed for not having the go to guy.

despite the fact that you've got most of this info from a newspaper (maybe Chicago Tribune, Section 4? :wavey: ) I completely agree. His plan is almost diabolically perfect. Let's just hope the players will actually perform and that Skiles as a coach would benefit them.
Next 4 years look mighty good, but I don't want just a 4-season chamionship team.

although i hate sam smith, he pretty much dissected paxsons plan to the core.
