I know everyone and their grandmother loves to tune and modify cars but lets say you picked up each one of these and took it straight from the dealership to the racetrack or dragstrip with no mods or tuning whatsover.Which one is faster completely stock?

Mods are expensive. My cousin has a 2004 civic that has only 25k miles on it but it has black smoke coming out of the exhaust and rattles like a 15 yr old car.Hes beaten the crap out of it and is thinkin of getting the sti or evo.My personal advice to him was to a buy a cheap new car for like 10k.And buy a brand new literbike. He would have both and can keep the extra change in his pocket :) Of course he wouldnt do that since hes always been a car fanatic

I'd get the mustang. Evo's and Sti's have shitty top ends and any rwd sports car can take them from a roll.

so what next, giving cars a head start?? Id say Evo if we're comparing stock to stock. but honestly i have no history with any american cars, cant stand them(except for the viper).

ok the question here is a track, were not comapring top speed, and remmeber, how often does top speed really come into the picture??? u think any car even comes close to its top speed at any track, well there are afew where they could, but not a local track or such, evo would destroy anything within its price range stock to stock, well STI would be close

right, instead when he has to take 4 of his other friends with him, hell put him on his head if he wouldve bought a bike, this whole thing with, get a bike is getting a lil annoying, im sorry no offense tho, but if a man is going for a car and u tell him to get a bike, its like telling a trucker who has to run his business to get a coupe, hed just look at u and shake his head

I know dude.Personally i like everything that goes fast.Car or Bike i dont care. They both have a special place in my heart.I would give my left nut for a 06 z06 vette.Problem is most kids dont have an unlimited budget. So they want performance but they dont want the 650 a month car payment the evo would have.So thats the complicated issue. There are lots of fast cars out there but people dont wanna spend that much money on em.True a bike isnt the same thing but most people can afford em.

yeah def the STi. The GT is RWD and the STi is actual AWD, not with the shitty differential the evo has.
STi puts out 300 hp with 300lbs of torque.
The GT would spin for a second on the line before it takes off cuz of the RWD.
STi runs lower 1/4mi time than the evo.
read up bitches!

I'd get the mustang. Evo's and Sti's have shitty top ends and any rwd sports car can take them from a roll.not true, the rx7s and 8s are rwd cars, and they cant take anything from a roll that well. yea they are rotary's but hey u said anything lol so ure wrong. and one more thing. evo's and sti's have shitty top ends because they are low mid end cars. therefore they pick up off the line fast as shit. they arent 4wd, they are awd, so they dont use all four tires obviously until needed. so they dont lose that power. the mustang gt will not take those two cars on at all in a quick drag. highway racing, the mustang would kill it.

ok forget about what everyone said and listen to me!
out of the three cars stock and at a dragstrip the sti would edge it out but on the track the evo is smoother and translates to better times on most circuits the mustang lol umm stock no thanks, ill take the evo hands down and for u no mods type thats cool, heres a mod for u intake and a injen I/C kit down the road after a nice cat back exhaust and a few psi up not alot jus throw it up like 2 psi and with those carb legal bolt ons youll have it lightly modified but makin noticable power but of course even without mods id pick the evo but down the road id do a lil bit to it after i got situated...
so ya value for $$ + 4 doors and winter driveabilty take the evo jus take it easy on those redline clutch dump launches

yea but telling someone whose buying a 4 door civic to get a bike is not really a good alternative, if he goin for a 4 door, u know he needs it to be practical, and have some space to carry friends or just grocery around

lol, man, kids nowadays
s friggin stock GT's 0-60 is about 5.2, the others are less than 5
top speeds are pretty close 155 are for the 4 bangers, GT if it can hit 150 would be a miracle
