1. Ben Wallace, Pistons, 6-foot-8, 240, F-C., born 9-10-74
Pistons president Joe Dumars went on record saying he wants to keep their top six intact, but there already is an alternative plan. The question is what Tellem will do as far as fostering mega-money on the market. The Chicago Bulls were the early team everyone buzzed about, but the Bulls seem quite happy with the result of their draft. Still, adding Wallace to their defensive orientation could jump-start this young group. But it seems most likely he'll stay put.

Raptors have said they won't go after Wallace. I think they are going to go and try to get Peja.

for real? Yeah guy, it will be better if we can get players who are made to play a certrain position, not move around guys to fit the roster.

The Los Angeles Lakers, meanwhile, have swiped a player from their co-tenants in the Staples Center, but it's another Serbian instead of Clippers guard Sam Cassell. The Lakers on Saturday secured a verbal agreement from Clippers sharpshooter Vladimir Radmanovic on a five-year deal starting at the $5 million mid-level exception and worth in excess of $30 million.
OKLAHOMA CITY -- The New Orleans Hornets agreed to terms Sunday with guard Bobby Jackson, the team's second pickup since the beginning of the NBA's free-agent signing period.

Report: Clippers Sign Thomas, Wait on Cassell
"The first day that NBA teams were allowed to negotiate with free agents came Saturday and went with the Clippers making one roster change and Sam Cassell still waiting on a two-year deal," reports Joe Stevens of THE LOS ANGELES DAILY NEWS. "The Clippers agreed to a multi-year contract with forward Tim Thomas, after Vladimir Radmanovic agreed to sign with the Lakers."
