I would start with a manual tranny. jk.

what car is it

alot of stuff u need a manual tranny and the clutch pedal assemnly along with the slave cyl and lines and some other stuff depends on the car but what is it?

Not neccicaraly. My tranny swap should have costed a total of $600 (seller fell off the face of the earth). Most can be had for under $1000. I know of several examples where it cost well under a grand. The idea is to get EVERYTHING you possibly can at once. Buying parts piece by piece will quickly add up.

my buddy did his for like 350$ but thats cause he got parts from buddys leftovers and did all the work himself

ya its mostly jus the manual tranny/ bellhousing with the shifter and clutch and flywheel and the slave cylinder and master clyinder and all the lines and the clutch pedal assembly
