D-wade vs. Kobe

Yall know after those finals this is a legit discussion. Wade has catapaulted himself to legendary status with those performances in the last 4 games.

I personally feel kobe's still the better player(tho its close). he still has more range on his jumper than wade and is better defensively. BUT if you ask me which of the 2 i would rather build my team around right now, i would have to go with wade. the way he carried this team is already arguably more impressive than any single postseason performance by kobe. not sure how the #'s stack up, but kobe had better role players and more importantly a better shaq. the responsibility fell squarely on wade's shoulders and he carried this team. to me that means more than any number or stat you could examine. also wade comes off more humble and players seem to like playing with him alot better (shaq, odom, etc).

In another year or two i think wade will be the best player in the league, but that remains to be seen. there's also that lebron james guy :google: so, of the 3, which one would YOU select to build your team around?

And D-Wade isn't really that sweet yet. Dallas just put so much attention to shaq that theyc couldn't stop D-Wade.

And Man to Man to stop the Guards.

And Dallas played ZOne, and Wade was always left wide open.

So he easy hit 30+.


And the pistons...........what a shame. LArry Bronw left. and As soon as a team wants to play offense they lose.
O well there's always next year.

And time to look at football..............Go lions.

if i were wade id book it soon as my contract runs out. that team has no future, at least they got a ring out of it though. id like their repeat chances somewhat if they traded bum ass walker and just get someone who can hit a free throw at least.

well, that kinda was his role, by second fiddle u mean like being the leading scorer, then i guess yea, he was playing backup, but put him in the spotlight, and hell drop 80 on u. yes there was a lot of hate, yes hes past is messed up, yes he has some serious attitude problems, but look where he took his team this year, im taking nothing away from wade, amazing player, but to be at kobes level, you gotta proove it year by year, so until we see that, kobe > wadem im talkin more of as an indivdual, yea miami won the championship but lakers took phoenix to 7, and who woudlve thought that

yea these playoffs have gotten to have changed alot of opinions on the two, thats just the way the sports world operates. like we were discussing in the other thread lakers are still a ways from competing, so it remains to be seen if kobe will ever get another ring. until he does you gotta look at it like the heat/shaq came away big winners from that trade.

never win another ring, wow, thats a strong statement, i think he will, being the kind of player he is, he kinda doing what jordan is doing, remember when everyone used to call him ball hog, hey if that makes u win games, then hog it anyday, i think they have a good team there now, theyre gelling and getting to know each others fav spots, its just time before they will be in the finals, and with them just being there, says enough bout kobe, but yea, well have to wait and see, also bout blowing a 3-1 lead, yea it happened, BUT who in their right mind wouldve said, yes, LA will be up by 3-1 after 4 games. but now were only takin their negative sides, rather than seeing what positive they did
