Are there any investors here?
lets discuss CD's, Bonds, Annuities, IRA, Roth Ira, 401K, Stocks, Mutual Funds etc.
seems like Interest Rates are high so it is good to put ur money onto a short to fairly long term CD account.

Higher interests rates means Bonds will fall. I have a Roth IRA with Vanguard. I invest in the 2045 Fund. They manage the fund, I just put my money in. As I get closer to retirment the asset allocation shifts towards safer investments. I don't invest in stocks, but if I did, I would buy index funds.

i guess nows the time to buy bonds since interest rates are rising. i put 5000 in a CD right now at 4.8% interest rate. i have a couple of thousands in a T.Rowe price Roth IRA. the good thing about that is that IRA money is tax deductible meaning i dont have to pay taxes on the amount i invest in IRAs. I also have a 401 k plan at work that my employer matches.

err.. you're confusing Roth IRA with traditional IRA.. The money in Roth IRA is not tax deductible.. The tax is levied on it the first year.. If you hold the money for 5 years or more then the earnings grow tax deferred.. Basically the money that goes into Roth IRA is post tax as opposed to traditional IRAs where the money is pre tax and therefore there is no tax on that money. However, there is income tax levied on the distributions once you start getting them.
