The 69Eyes/my favorite bands thread

Wow , these guys have been around for about 16 years , but their last couple of albums have been AMAZINGLY well produced and well written.

One minute they sound like Vision Thing era Sisters of Mercy , the next minute they remind you of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, the next Billy idol and then the next minute they bring you to think they're the reincarnation of The Cult. They're from Finland and yes they do have a bit of "Him" to their sound , but I guess thats just the "finnish touch". I dislike Him immensely despite the fact these bands share a close relationship with each other. I guess 69 Eyes would be Him without the cheesy woosy sounding riifs and Cutting Crew rip off parts.Anyways , The 69 Eyes are fast becoming one of my favorites. Yeah I guess you can say lot of what I listen to tends to have a strong "gothic rock/new wave" flavor, but I just like the music the sub culture itself seems pretty inane and useless if you ask me, and I am in NO WAY connected to it or any moronic sub culture.
