Well........... I have been determined to read the book b4 I see the film, and I got to say the book is AMAZING!

What a story............ twisted and full of mystery!...........

Im up to chapter 15 but only on page 111 out of 592

Any one else read it or seen the movie.?!?!?!............


Im told the movie isnt as good as the book........... and opinions and views?!?!?

Actually i just saw the movie, kind of a brief overview of the book, really.

i just got back from watching the movie.

it was good...long, but good. id say the beginning half was kind of hard to grasp...but it all started to make sense towards the middle.

alot of people were falling asleep in the movie theatre, including the black dude sitting next to me...who asked if he could put his head on my shoulder :ugh2: i dont even know the guy!! :lol:

i liked it though...very interesting...and i loved how symbolism, etc was shown through Da Vinci's paintings...pretty amazing stuff.

now ill be reading the book! :D

Movies are never as good as the books because they can never fit every scene into the movie.. and the books are way more detailed.
But then again I'd go to see the movie, rather than reading the book just because I'm too lazy to read a 592 page book.

So yeah.. I'd like to see the movie though.. even though the trailers/previews seem kinda twisted :weirdfac:

I also, loved all the symbolism. Especially in the beginning when Tom hanks was giving the lecture and you see the nazi symbol trasfigured into an asian one and then into the American Peace symbol. Then the devil's fork is really Posiedon's septer and its interesting how these symbols mean something completely different in other cultures. I have to look more into that. I feel like I am missing out on something huge in that aspect.

I saw it yesterday and completely loved it. I think that the symbolism in the movie is great as well. I duno if anyone else who noticed it or not but if you think of it from a certain aspect the last scene of the movie when the 2 (triangular) i forgot the name things combine and have the holy grail...for the female...they had glass which is fragile and rock for the male which is tough. maybe its my own point of view but anyways...i read parts of the book, havent finished it yet though. but if you read the book before you see the movie...you definitely understand it more.

Fantastic read and Im captivated by every word i read......... On that note i'm off back to the book! to see If Langdon gets caught, after the smart car chase!?!?!??! DONT TELL ME THE STORY plllllleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaasssssseeeee!
