even if you only trust one guy (excluding close blood relatives), you still lose as much as the chick who trusts any random dude off the street.

In general, women are less "trustworthy" than men. Thats a fact. Women tend to be guided by emotions, while men rely more towards logic. I am not implying that one is better than the other, but thats just the way the masculine and feminine traits are defined.

I agree with most of what you said, though it doesn't make us less trustworthy.
There is a reason I put quotations around trustworthy. Women's emotional shifts give the illusion that they are unreliable. Men use the "rational" approach and conjure this conclusion, which is why most men simply don't "get" women.

Well I tend to bring out the nice/fun side in every person I meet. So I guess the trick is: u just got to be chill, don't pass/pose as though u would pass judgment, make a few jokes, and aim at trying to make whoever the person may be comfortable/ at ease, hence think of u as a good friend.
General advice in terms of trusting, the way I see it is, trust people who u know are content and secure with themselves, and you know deep down they would want whats best for you, only then confide in them. Rem these people are a minority, I can gladly say i can see through people.

Goodlooking guys- either taken or have nobish personality.
Goodlooking guys who are smooth - Prob try it on with many others and will proceed in doing so.
Ugly guys - Not interested.
Ugly guys with gud peronality - can still be nobs.
What about the rest you of you?
yeah good looking men are usually taken...or homosexual :ugh:

geeks aren't usually 'working'. those would be 'nerds'.
geeks - fanatical/overly-enthusiastic about something (like science fiction, games, whatever)
dorks - inept/awkward in social situations
nerds - hard working, make money, good at school
and usually the nerds don't have time to pay attention to you either.
nor do the geeks who are too busy with their hobbies. this leads to end of the relationship in 90+% of the instances. you might think its 'cute', but it (whatever 'it' is for the geek) is serious business. don't get between a geek and what he geeks out over. :drdodgy:

haha! I wouldn't exactly paraphrase it that way, but you have a point. In a nutshell, Oprah encourages a woman to embrace her masculinity, and this further delineates intimiacy in the sense that women won't be attracted to masculine men anymore. Remember, opposites attract! Its a shame.

women arent complicated, we just vie for attention and love, we are emotional beings. At the end of it all, we don't base much on looks.Men on the other hand are just as about emotional as a rock, not to mention unpredicatable. It's so hard to tell what a guy wants, aside from ass. well looks are the intial basis for attraction, but that usually dissipates or loses its effectiveness once the relationship gets serious. And its a "well known" fact that women tend to focus more on personality when choosing their respective partners, while men still count looks as one of the decisive factors. Men can be emotional but they never display it. Cry us a river sometimes man. There's nothing wrong with displaying ur emotions.

That's a load of crap. We put just as much emphasis on looks as men do. I've researched this and did my mini-thesis on looks and gender.
women are a hell of a lot more unpredictable then men are. Why else would we be percieved as being so complicated?
Men are not void of emotion. Some of em just aren't as open with how they feel (aside from when they're displaying stereotypical male behavior and showing aggression or whatever)

well looks are the intial basis for attraction, but that usually dissipates or loses its effectiveness once the relationship gets serious. And its a "well known" fact that women tend to focus more on personality when choosing their respective partners, while men still count looks as one of the decisive factors. Men can be emotional but they never display it. Cry us a river sometimes man. There's nothing wrong with displaying ur emotions.
hrm. Fair enough.

ah ha. :Paper:
then that all becomes subjective. conditional on the woman. and in that case, a clear pattern emerges. men are more sensitive than women. and to keep themselves safe, they disable that (compartmentalizing it... its the same thing that runs crazy in autistic people, men have it more than women naturally).
