Serenity (sci-fi 2005) i just saw it for the 1st time

pretty crazy movie i have to say, nice fight scenes.

I really enjoy the black ninja assasin character, and the girl
she can really kick some ass too.. nice story as well

it was a tv series like back in... 2002-03...? i dunt member when. it was called firefly then... it got cancelled but there was like a HUGE cult fan following... which is why they made the movie... just because of all the demands of fans and support shown all over the world...

You're talking about dark angel, it was fun, but pretty cheesy and shitty at the same time.

I'm surprised you like serenity without knowing about firefly though, not a whole lot of people are like that. You should really download the whole series, it's only about 14 episodes long. Shouldn't have been canceled, I want it to come back.

i was sad when they canceled the first wave and odyssey five. those were pretty intellectual shows... ok, maybe not first wave, but odyssey 5 was kick ass!!

and yea!! x-MEN!!! whoo!! angel and beast r in this one !! :dance3: kelsey grammer!! yea its supposed to be de last... but spin-offs r always in the talk... biggest one being a wolvy spin off :D

oh dude u SO have to get de series... u'll see de differences, cuz all de things in de movie... u can see in the series dat they were gonna spread all dat storyline out over seasons... but in the film they put it all into one shot... which makes sence cuz they might not get to do it anymore in the series right.... i was surprised to see how far they went in the movie ...

and the soundtrack... dont u guys love de fuckin background music durin all de space cowboy like sequences...?! :D

My favorite sci fi shows are: stargate sg-1, stargate atlantis, and battlestar galactica. I'm proud to say that I've never missed a minute of either show.

I've seen most of xfiles, and have regularly checked out shows like mutant x, earth final conflict, first wave, andromeda, and random sci fi movies. I just dislike overly geeky things like star trek, and babylon 5, they just go too overboard for me on cheesy aliens and stuff.

It's good to know that there's desis that like sci fi, last time I made a thread, hardly anyone replied or sounded like a fan. Now I see that I pale in comparison.

i was a HARDCORE star trek fan... and they were kick ASS. ok granted, voyager, tng and de old one WERE cheesy... but u shud watch deep space nine... dat was done brilliantly... w/ de way they blurred the lines of fiction and reality in the later parts of the series... it was cool... :p

I'm not a big TV sci-fi fan. However, BSG pretty much beats out anything that's on TV currently.

Also, you should give Babylon 5 a chance, it's got a very intriguing story.
