4 semi serious relationships, and another 4 stupid high school relationships that lasted like a week-2 weeks
there's been 3 girls that i really liked(more than any of my gfs), but haven't gone out with cause im a pussy/im not good enough for them, but i did eventually end up making out with each of them
most recently yesterday, i got drunk with my crush and some friends, and ended up kissing her, but i didn't feel it was right, it was pretty anticlimactic for liking her so much for 8 months now, and she was like wasn't there at all in the head, but either was i .. i really hope she forgets about it, but people saw, and im not in any mood to act all charming and stuff to make up for it if shes feeling awkward
oh and im 18, i thought i was kinda low, and i do think so as well.. ive never loved any of these girls, or even come to close to it.. id rather have had one girl that i love instead of all that useless drama

what do u mean dating used very loosly here?
assed whooped for what?
the current guy is just a boy toy? dating as in "just hanging out normally" i mean, apparently, i was just thinking as friends, and they seemed to think more of it. so for lack of a better word: dating.
asses whooped for attempting to be aggressive & basic overall stupidity (trying to use emotional blackmail/guilt trips for not rushing into anything) and just wanting to get laid. only about action and not about substance. to make the mistake of thinking that you can have your way with a girl by the second date. failure to realize and understand someone, lack of respect...etc. etc.
the current guy is not just a toy boy :P it's more serious. however, i do play with him, so i suppose in a way he is a type of toy as well as other things :)

everyone has differnet definations for dating. what i meant was getting intimate in some way, not just friends! friends with intimacy counts too. if this is serious then how can he just be a boy? i am sure he plays with u too.....unless he was a dummy lol.....

lol, well, i don't see why he can't be referred to as a boy and how it would take away from the seriousness of the relationship in anyway. :) and yes, of course, playing is not a one way thing here, it's definitely a two way street. the game definitely keeps us amused andthe relationship interesting.
aha, i rarely run into bay people on this site so that's cool :) how long were you here for? you moved cuz of profession-related reasons? which part of the world are you terrorizing now?

are u the typical type of desi female that marrys the first guy she's been 'intimate with'....if so...when is the wedding? :p haha, well, maybe the reason why some desi females marry the first guy they've been intimate is because they're extremely picky to begin with. so if a guy can gain enough of her trust for her to get intimate with him...then that says a lot about how far she's willing to go with him. maybe even indicative of marrriage.
and so that probably kind of was an issue for me where i didn't feel solid enough to go ahead with intimacy before...but no, at the same time, i'm not someone who would marry the first guy i've been intimate with...although i wouldn't mind, i mean, that would give me the chance to harass my best friend for life but for now, there's no rush. :D so if and should wedding dates be scheduled, then i will let it be known. ;)

infact, we've still never actually said that to each other this entire time..but that doesn't mean it's not there. the actions speak for themselves far louder than any words can. i can't help but laugh when i remember how much we've gone through during the time we've known each other...also developed, and changed. :D

interesting....i think theres pressure in the desi community for young people to hitched quickly. I'm 24, got my degree, started my career, living really well...and my family is on me about 'settling down'. I can only imagine the pressure on desi females. I don't know if theres a right age to get married...if 2 people fall in love and can see themselves living happily ever after & living comfortably...i say go for it.

:) but yea, sometimes, i guess the girls feel more solid of a relationship, not just because they'll end up with a loaded guy but because their parents would never have an issue with someone like that who's financially stable...i don't know, i actually have no idea how they think, i can only theorize. lol.

i'm a pretty good judge of character so I can elimidate the girls that are just looking to get a 'free ride'....kind of like how girls would be able to dismiss guys who are just looking to get some play....
Most of my friends are engaged, about to be engaged, or married...so yeah my poor mother can get a little nervous at time...poor woman...but i keep on reassuring her that her patience will be rewarded.
My friends keep on telling me that if you meet a girl who's in her mid 20's and single...something must not be right with her...as in if she was all that...she would have already been scooped up by a guy by now....i tried to argue with this theory...unfortuantley i applied it to the last few girls i met that have fit the criteria..and its strangely accurate

lol
yea, poor parents, especially moms will want to make sure we find ideal mates before all the good ones are gone. :) it is really very sweet of them to do haha but nevertheless, nerveracking for the saplings. and rewarded she will be indeed ;) i mean, it's far better to wait and find someone that you can see yourself having a future with rather than being rushed and finding out what a mistake it was, then ending up divorcing them. but by then they may have a kid so that they make sure they get child support from you :D haha, jk :) but yea, i don't really believe in divorces. that's too easy of a way out...unless it's really absolutely hopeless and an extremely abusive relationship
i don't know if i quite agree with your friends' opinion about 20 something single ladies having issues. i mean, sometimes, they've just had such a bad experience or have seen such bad things happen around them that they really kind of avoid relationships and can become cynical. nothing that can't be overcome. :) i'm sure there's plenty out there that are absolutely great and have not been scooped up by the right guy (aka, potentially you ;) )
