It is however true at one time Afghans came to the Indian subcontient and ruled certain regions of India. Sher SHah Suri ruled from the Indus to Bengal; however that was 600 years ago, the likeliness of being his descendents of the descendents of his Wazirs is very narrow.

I have a story abt this so you might get bored but its interesting really, going back 2 years i went to Pakistan for my usual holiday thing, and my Mama ji's friend wanted to buy a car from NWFP area simply because they are imported for Afhgan and are cheap to buy. So off we went it was 6 hour journey we had to go in the heart of NWFP past Peshawar and I cnt remember the name of the place, but it was a rural area and they dnt like outsiders there unless you know people here, killings there were like 2nd nature to these guys. Me, my uncle his friend and a Pashtun went who knew everything and was basically our guide there. We got the car and the seller wanted us to have a meal with him after the sale was complete I wanted to start making my way back but its bad manners if you refuse to eat with them so we had no choice and we went. They have this type of tradition where you sit on the floor and they bring out these big cooking pots (handi) and you have to eat from them plus you have to finish the pots, dude that was not a good experience. These pots were about 4 foot wide and 3 feet deep, they were BIG full of boneless lamb meat. We managed to finish the one and the pashtun had 2 each to himself, so I guess that answers your question. Also to end the story on a sad note, last year I was asking abt that Pashtun guide and I was told he got shot in the head coz he took some other clients to buy some goods but they refused to eat and NONE of them never returned to punjab, got killed and buried somewhere there.

To me its about supposed risk factors(like what you have) and updated research which sees that the increase of risk factors.
