Kingston is actually a good uni,
yeah, there are a hell of a lot of asians there......
but its the same with most unis to be honest unless u go someewhere like Bath, Durham or St.Andrews, like those types of old-school unis.
If u want to go to Kingston, go for it......
theres a wicked social scene with a good SU
and plenty of opportunity to get a good degree,
at the end of the day, if u've got talent, u'll make it, no matter which uni u go2 :)

Kingston is one of the best unis in the UK for graphic design and fashion. All of my flatmates during uni went to the Knights Bridge campus, its quite artsy fartsy but they have a lot of links to relevant industries for your course and if you want to be seen and heard about, then Kingston is the choice to go. The lecturers have lots of friends and connection with leading fashion houses that regularly visit the campus on exhibition nights etc.

If you are worried about rude asians, Knights Bridge is predominantly white and some far eastern students :p its the other campuses that you should be worried about!

I went to the Penrhyn Rd campus in Kingston and I am pretty much a coconut and even so, I didnt find it that bad at all. The courses are very varied, the atmosphere is quite amicable and I had a really good 4 years(did a placement) at Kingston!

If you want a reasonably good degree and not compromise on your social life then go Kingston :p I think its the right choice for the degree you want to do.

if u get 40 - 50 % its a 3rd ( u bettter gain work experience, coz this result aint gonna take u anywhere)

50 - 60 % is a 2.2 (ur gonna struggle to find jobs unless u wanna be a recruitment consultant lmao)

60 - 70 % is a 2.1 ( u get that and all doors are open for u in terms of jobs)

> 70 is a 1st ( you'l be offered to come work for companies)

thts how i see it ... i hope that helps

i go to the sixth form next to it...yeah kiads good for that sorta stuff...pretty well known around these parts, just one big disadvantage - its in CHATHAM so if u can put up with the high chav population here then go for it :)
