well i got my 1st credit card when i was 19, and it was a "student visa"
the bank i worked at also offers a student checking account which could also possibly qualify them for a student CC
what i recommend is go on ur local bank's website and see if they offer anything of that.
i hope that answered your question

also vishnu i forgot to mention this
but u can also get a CC under your parents, as a secondary, and if you pay your bills and everything, it will look good on you and then after 6 months to about a year you can go and apply for a credit card on your own

honestly i dont know how that works, because our bank did all kinds of loans besides mortgage loans, because there was a totally seperate department for that. But i would assume the process would be similar and maybe a little bit of a difference.

You should buy a house and share it with roomates. Let them pay most of it.

i would assume that it should be easy for any student to get a student loan, so i reccomend going to ur local bank or go on there website and look for the minimum requirments, and your credit has allot to do with it, so i dont know if you would quilify if you have bad credit, ask a personal banker maybe they might know any way to get you one, and if they could, expect your interest rate to be allot higher.

honestly i dont know that much about mutual funds, i would ASSUME that they work similar to a CD(certificate of deposit) where you put an X dollar amount for an X period of time before you can do anything with it, and accrue interest in the process, but like i said i'm not sure, try going on your banks website it might more info than me

no student loan is the "best" if ur looking for a good interest rate then i strongly encourage you to go to your local credit union they offer the best rates on loans
i would reccomend opening a CD(certificate of deposit) you can earn allot of interest in those, depending on where you get it at(shop arround banks and see which one has a higher interest rate and go with those)
