They won emmys like crazy...No show comes close to what they've done...I've been having marathons lately. I never get sick of it. The team went on to do Justice League Unlimited, and that show has AMAZING writing, but I dunno...Batman: The Animated Series is unsurpassed. They made lame villains work so well. In the comics, Clayface was some dude who found a mystical pool of mud. On the show, he was an emotionally unstable actor who took part in corporate espionage in order to get his 'fix'...
Yeah, Two Face was awesome too. Prior to the show, the character didn't have that 'split personality' element.

The intro is so kickass...How many shows have the balls to NOT put the name of the show in the intro? They let it speak for itself. And the painted title cards, and the orchestral scores, and the limited colors...the show had so much style. So '40s.

yeah i share your feelings. designing babies would make them look very plastic. and every kid will get the, "sooooo cuutttteeee" cheek pinch.
i wouldnt have felt unique if that were to happen.
yeah. What class are you taking? Oh introduction to baby designing. :|

Beowulf was orally passed down for centuries and I don't mean it the way it sounds.
But written allows for a greater usage of imagination.
I have nothing against the written word, but I have something against it when it's used alone. Text-only fiction should have emotive typography and/or pictures.
You can argue that it allows greater usage of imagination on the reader's part, but to me, the writer fails if (s)he is unable to make the reader see what he or she WANTS the reader to see.

I outgrew pictures a long time ago. But it would be so one dimensional if a readers ideas were forced into one pathway.. the one chosen by the author.

If you don't want to see what the author intends for you to see, then why read their work?
And how do you 'outgrow' visual communication?

personality is a very deceiving thing since you can have so many things about yourself. you are not restricted to looking and acting one way. i certainly cant, i will get bored of myself.

You don't ready poetry?
It's called escapism. The extra work that your brain does while reading is fun. I like comics too.

Yes exactly. I hate being categorized. And I don't know about RD people. I dont know enough of them or about them to correctly judge them. One aspect of their personality might irk me but they might be nice people in some other way.
