What happens when a red blooded White Christian American spends 30 days among Muslims?

it was interesting to say the least. It goes to show that it's not a matter of agreeing with the Muslim lifestyle as many people like to believe (Muslim AND non-Muslim), it's more a matter of simply understanding it.. and I think the latter was accomplished here.

don't think you'd see it the other way around much often.

Yea I agree. Americans have this thing injected deep into their skulls (and I think it actually runs in their blood), where they've been forced to believe that they are most superior. And I think it's not only them, it's everyone! Why can't we just learn to embrace different perspectives while maintaining strong foundation on our own???

yes people do stereotype, the problem in our current world is people do generalize and With this there will always be hate and division for the other. I guess people just need some education and we could all live in peace

Oh please. I have yet to see a shopkeeper close his shop when he sees an arab dude walking by, or a sign that says "NO MUSLIMS". No one cares, really, most people realise its the extreme Islamic terrorists that are behind the bombings, not every day citizens. Still, I'd be the first to leave the train if i saw a tall, dark, dirty, shady, bearded arab looking dude with a maltreated briefcase... would that be considered racism or common sense?

tall, dark, dirty, shady, bearded arab looking dude with a maltreated briefcase

Nearly all Arabs/Middle-Easterners/Indians/Muslims look like that. Aside from being "dirty" and having brief cases, nearly all of us look like that.
