Why can't SD have religious topics?

This forum used to be most active and most interesting when religious topics were allowed.

Sure, there was lots of controversial and offensive stuff flying about. So what?

Those easily offended, or with weak stomachs and unrelenting POVs should take it upon THEMSELVES to stay away.

So what if there is flame? This is an internet discussion board, not a real live arena. Last time I checked, ASCII text never hurt no one.

Besides, Flaming usually comes from select troublemakers. Just ban them temporarily.

Anyone else notice how dull this forum has become.

Again, those who don't have the strength to accomodate contradictory religious POVs should be obligated to stay away.

And I'm not suggesting total chaos. Admins should still enforce censorship, but only in the case of foul language/inappropriate graphical content/spam/deliberate mal-intent.

After all, isn't this a matter of free speech? Plus, the only way for fundies to grow up and get matured, is by tiring themselves out by way plenty of head bashing against the wall of dogma....

(Admins, I hope you will note that even though the thread title has 'Religion' in it, there isn't anything remotely religious about this particular thread. Therefore I'm not in violation of the rules....SO DON'T BAN ME!!!)

It was probably more active because a few retarded posters would go out of there way to flame eachother. Religious discussions rarely lead to anybody changing there point of view, and when that does happen it requires a civilized discussion. Few of the topics on religion in here were ever civilized.

So since most people were left out, or felt offended...what's the point of allowing them?

They went on for quite some time. Not any more.
