you're misunderstanding what i'm saying. a phone can play surround sound, and a camcorder can play surround sound. but for any device to pick up and record surround sound, it would have to have multiple mics, otherwise all the sound goes into one mic and it ends up mono.

I also have simpsons season 1 - 7 boxed set, Family Guy season 1 - 4 boxed set, Futurama Season 1 - 3 Boxed set.

Many of my DVD's I picked up for under 3 bucks and all brand new, my boxed sets I got for half price (10-11 bucks VS. 49.99 per season)... brand new as well, and NO they are not bootlegs. I didn't get them off ebay either.

thats an awesome collection. i love horror movies too man, but i find as the years go on, they are becoming more and more tasteless. i like horror films from the '70s and '80s. the thing i find about more horror films is that they're either absolutly amazing, or incredibly stupid. there are few that are kinda in the middle.

Yea thats true, That's why I don't really have many of the new ones. There are a few exceptions.. but very very little. Saw, Saw 2 and Hostel were pretty ok. Haven't really seen movies like those before.

do you have a home-entertainment center?

if you dont, once you get one you'll be getting DVDs like crazy. that 7-channel stereo sound and 70" TV is intoxicating. its like going to the movies whenver you want.
