I''m thinking of creating a RateDesi premium membership... it would include new features such ass

see who has ranked you and what they ranked you
see who has added you to their favorites list
see whose personal top ten you are on (personal top tens dont exist yet)
view other people's rating stats
view other people's favorites list
multiple photos per account (this i might add to the free accounts)
clear your own rating
view all comments left by a single specific person.
move to top of the picture display list for a reduced price (ie pay $5 to be on the mainpage)
view full size photos of members (the current ones you see are not full size)
background music for your profile

actually the mutliple photo thing, ill likely let that be a free account thing

so any comments...

as for prices im thinking like $5 a month, $25 a year, somtehing like that.

this isnt coming any time soon tho.

i do make a profit, not much, if u divided profit by hours spent on the site i think i would be making minimum wage or less

but i dont sweat it, im learning as i go and i know this site has huge growth potential

and ya ure right desis are cheap but then if i could get .5% of the viewers to signup that would still be a lot.

tru, u should try that. The guy who owns desiclub.com is prolly a millioare by now. His names saroosh, he has like 50 people workin under him including a jounalist who goes around to parties takin pics and doing interviews. That cite started so small, but it expanded and look at it now, the biggest party site on the net.

Hm...if you put that option, maybe that would cause some people to not give an honest rating.

for example...if friends knew they were being logged when rating their other friends, no one would give out a bad score.

At the very worst, you could always bank money off of advertising/affiliate memberships with corporations. That's how most operators of free sites make their money. But, it depends on whether or not you get the ones that pay you per click or per display.

actually RD has potential to become a profitable premium site because of its responsible staff members;
as opposed to other desi sites that have taken the premium path (dp for one.... staff comes on like ... 1x a year and leaves fixing nothing, making things worse...also flooded with thugged out 7th 8th graders)

Maybe for people who don't wanna pay and since u aree lookin to expand the number of people on this site, why don't u have a "referral" thing where if current members can refer a "Certain number" of people then they get free premium or whatever .. it will be a lil tough from finding the fakers but u can easily tell that from the number of comments they leave and the number of pictures they put up ... :idea:

you can do that on cpixel, but you have to have like 1000 ratings first or somethin like that
