Someone please explain Sikhism to me...

Dont start a fucking race war, or an argument...hell dont ever respond unless your Sikh...I just want straight basic facts!! What is the ideal behind it? beliefs? holy men/books? if there are any...How long has it been in existence? etc etc etc Someone please break it down for me barney style...Id like to have a knowledge check on this matter for myself! sikhism, the youngest of the world religions, is barely five hundred years old. Its founder, Guru Nanak, was born in 1469. Guru Nanak spread a simple message of "Ek Ong Kar": we are all one, created by the One Creator of all Creation.
