Now that is one kick-ass movie. Peter Jackson has an obsession with crazy-long movies though. Maybe he's half Indian, cuz that thing was over 3 hours. lol, Anywayz, Kong looked amazing. This definatly deserves the Oscar for best Special Effects thingy this year. The best part was where he takes on those 3 T-Rex's at the same time. Mr. Jackson has a vivid imagination. Who else has seen this movie?

It was aite.
the fighting scene was tight. the last part was hella gay. they should have done some kinda of experiment to continue the series..
the heppies of the island was tight..
I would rate the movie C+.

Yea, my only complaint was that it took too long to get them on the island. I mean, it was great for character development, but there should have been a quicker way. Like the first hour is just on the boat. Once they got there tho, it really picked up. And those Natives are hella freaky!

Heavy film tho, like the long factor but you shouldnt go to watch it after 9 or ull be there forever! Ending's always sad tho :(

i think the funniest part was when the kong's all tied up for the ppl to watch in that auditorium & they bring up a blonde in fucked up make up who looks at the kong & he goes "ugh what the fuck"...that was quite evident in the look he gave her :p

It was too long for a film that is essentially two acts.
It was bloated - the fight scenes went on far too long and the CGI was during the dinosaur chase in the valley was laughable.
Naomi Watts spend 85% of the film screaming and alternating between 1-2 facial expressions.
Despite Peter Jackson trying to develop some character, I still found them two-dimensional. The "Father/Son" relationship between the young kid and the black guy was a pathetic attempt at creating some sympathy for their inevitable deaths.

Yea, the dinosaur chase scene was the low point for the CGI, but all the other scenes were done well. Especially when Kong was tearing apart the New York city.

The scene when the no shit-taking Captain comes to the rescue of the rescue squad was a brilliant scene.
