Both my mom and dad know that I am sexually active. It it not like they found out at the exact time I started having sex, but I told both of them soon after I started. I am not sure what they expected or thought beforehand but I can't say they were strict "wait until marriage", but rather more "wait until you are in love." I also think they expected that I would only feel that way once and get married to the girl.

My brother may or may not have waited until marriage. He was not active with his previous girlfriends, I know that much. It took them seven years of going out to get married so if he waited that whole time he has my awe at his self control. They are still as married and as much in love if it happened first before or after marriage so in the end it really doesn't matter.
