my point was that women don't obtain reproductive health care until far later than they ought to because of this "proof" that a woman is a virgin... cuz guess what... a pap will break a hymen.

There's no way of knowing for sure if a guy is a virgin or not. You'll just have to take his word for it that he's not!! :p I mean... how many guys will say they are huh?!?! The thing about how long it takes them... yeah first timers might shoot the gun too fast but that can happen with guys with years of experience too. And vice versa, first timers might take forever cuz they're too freakin nervous.

As for gals... presence of a hymen might prove she's a virgin. Absence of a hymen means nothing. Some are born with some kinda vestigial hymen remnant.. so that doens't count as it's barely there. Other's might lose it during sports... horseback riding, rope climbing, gymnastics, etc.

Either way, if u wanna find out about ur guy... just ask him. Doesn't it all boil down to a matter of trust? And does his past matter that much?

ummm a lot of girls aren't born w/ a hymen or sometimes , their hymen breaks due to strenous (sp?) exercise . so you can't always tell if a girls a virgin or not .

race has nothing to do with values. people in general try to apply social norms such as this by making a conclusion from specific ethnicities. don't u think that gender should be the more likely stereotype? like how it would make more sence to say "a 20 year old male thats one?!"
im lnot apart of the Islamic faith but look at the male muslims that are tradditional as to pre-marital values such as sexual intercourse. okay now figure out the massive amout of black muslims there are. now make the connection just to give u an idea of why it's neccesary to discard race as a key foundation of a assumption like this.
