check the pm...

and when i do set it up... i wont make my own irc server... ill use a irc server like that, but i need to find one in which im sure it cant be abused, like ops need to be registered etc.

and then i need to choose a quick loading applet that is also not server intensive

yea well that servers pretty strict like u cant register rooms on the fly. u either gotta hope the admins r in a good mood to give u 1 or make friends with 1. and only registered users can be admin. plus there are room owner passwords and room op passwords. and the server also doesn't allow more then 3 registered nicks per IP so people can't be dicks with that. and i think it took u a little while to load the applet because that was ur first time downloading it?

i just timed myself since i already have the applet installed (it took me 10 seconds to load the page and log on)

u can also try this aplet http://www.jpilot.com/
