Have you ever walked into a music store and heard a track being played through the load speaker system? You then think to your self this is a good track and ask someone working their what the track is called and what album it is from? They tell you, and you decide to part with your hard earned cash and go and buy the album. You go home and listen to it after listening to it you relize that you have spent £9 on a album in which you only like 2 song's out of the 6 it had on it. Bhangra CD's are badly over charged. Bhangra albums are costing in excess of £8 (if the album is hyped up then it costs more). Most albums only have about 8 tracks, you may think 8 tracks is alot but when you exclude the 40 second intro, and the duplication of songs (a song which has been remixed twice as a Garage mix and a Desi mix). You are left with 5 songs. Bhangra singles are worse you are expected to pay £7 for a bhangra single which only features about 4 songs.

You gross generalisation does not reflect all albums.

You can also get the same with Engrezi albums as well, which also cost more.

Altho I have to agree with the fact that most bhangra albums only have about two or three good tracks.

As a dissatisfied consumer you have the right to air your opinion! You should see how many online Tesco consumers complain about the service, delivery, staff, products everything from nappies to DVD's!

Never paid for music for last 10 years almost,
Nowadays its all about download especialy with like 8 meg connections and bit torrent etc, and before u even think about parting with ur hard earned cash, go do some research before u waste ur money, there are hundreds of good review sites on the web for bhangra, www.desitunes4u.com is a good one with some good links too,
But if u really get stuck just give Satinder a shout, hes the man for bhangra  sorry if i put u in it mate lol

if youre not satisfied with the music then dont buy it

if youre not satisfied with the price then download it

but if you dont like the music anyway then why complain about the price?

you said that they have two different mixes of the same track, it seems to me that you dont like that, so point one of what i said deals with that

the only gora group whose music i bought were take that

take that for life baby

A music album is a product and as for bhangra albums you do not get value for money the last album I purchased was Dr Zeus' Kangna and that was value for money but albums like that are very rare!

no there not... u jus need 2 do ur research! and u cnt complain 2 the shop about selling a bhangra album... whether a music album is good or not is a matter of opinion... whether a cd is scratched when u bought it is not a matter of opinion as its a defect; thus meaning ur legible to make a complaint about it!

download them then.. if ur not willing to do that then read reviews or something.. the only albums i've heard that were worth buying this year are various artists - gettin serious, panjabi by nature - ready or not and zeus - the original edit.. wht i do is download a few tracks.. if i like em then i'll go n buy it
