Rana Naveed would have been a much better pick in my opinion.

Earlier on one of the most controversial 3rd umpire run out decisions iv seen, was regarding Salman Butt. From one angle it looked borderline/out, from the other it looked definately out, as all the commentators were saying. Pakistan were very very lucky there when he was given not out HAHAHA, he continued to make 122 before he was caught out.

Regarding the runout though, David Llloyd was saying that, the 3rd umpire has to be 100% certain that the bail is completely removed, so I guess there lies the doubt which is the only reason why he was given not out, but its clear to see the wickets were definately 'disturbed' while he was still outside the crease. England will feel hard done by with that decision.

Pakistan have put abit of a fight back on, but since Inzi got out they have collapsed, currently on 308-7, giving them a lead off approx 160. We need a lead of 200+ to make any sort of game out of this I reckon, hopefully 250+ :neutral:

nah, they shouldnt, lbw should be given by the umpires on the field...thats what I think, we cant make those umpires completely useless.

The one player I really hate right now, is Mohammad Yousuf (aka Yousuf Youhana). Stupid asshole was playing it like an ODI. he shouldve stayed at the crease and protected the tail and shouldve tried to get the lead past 250, but all he did was go for quick runs and subsequently a quick dismissal. that was highly irresponsible batting IMO, and he's potentially lost the match for us. and I hate Hasan Raza...0 and 1 wtf, why the hell isnt Asim Kamal playing this game???

nah, they shouldnt, lbw should be given by the umpires on the field...thats what I think, we cant make those umpires completely useless.

The one player I really hate right now, is Mohammad Yousuf (aka Yousuf Youhana). Stupid asshole was playing it like an ODI. he shouldve stayed at the crease and protected the tail and shouldve tried to get the lead past 250, but all he did was go for quick runs and subsequently a quick dismissal. that was highly irresponsible batting IMO, and he's potentially lost the match for us. and I hate Hasan Raza...0 and 1 wtf, why the hell isnt Asim Kamal playing this game???

Pakistan hasnt been outplayed here, like I said if our team selection had been better (hasan raza wtf), and senior batsmen like mohd yousuf hadnt thrown wickets away we could definitely have had a good lead today....we still have some positives though... Salman Butt, must say the lad is looking amazing right now, only 21 but really mature batting, great talent, hope he keeps up his performances.

I dunt understand why Umar Gul is not included in the 16 man squad
he was the best bowler in last series against india in pakistan. Afridi is always a useful player...u cant play him as an spinner he is only part time tho he does get the job done so many times...mayeb Afirdi for Yousaf and asim kamal for hasan raza wud balance the team. I only mentioned it could be tried...the conditions at the moment dont seem very spinner friendly, althought it might be different in Faisalabad and Lahore. dont get me wrong, I rate Kaneria very highly...

Agree with the comments about Mohammed Yousuf (aka Youhana), for someone who is usually a rock in the Pakistan side, he threw away his wicket very cheaply. Salman Butt is a legend in the making, he just seems to be getting better and better, I think we will see this guy around for a long time to come.

I dont know what the selectors were thinking really, who actually rates Shoaib Akhtar? I'll be honest, I dont. Whats the point of having all that speed if your line and length is wrong, and you bowl too many wides and no balls? Hes never really impressed me that much, I would have been happier seeing someone more consistent in the side, like Rana Naveed who impressed me alot against India.

Hasan Raza? I dont think iv even seen this guy play before, and from his shocking performance I hope I dont see him play again anytime soon.

Kaneria hasnt really fired yet. We need an absolute miracle, but he will play an important part in Pakistans win tomorrow :yes: :anxious:

Hmm I agree with you about Sami, hes not very consistent either. Thing about Shoaib is, I know hes very quick and all, but for experienced batsmen they only need to touch the ball and its gone for 4 or even worse... 6.
