well Paul Boateng was the first Black Cabinet minister when he was appointed a yr or so back..... so things are changing.

I say more 'ethnic minority' cabinet ministers in the next 10 yrs and id say 20 yrs for a ethnic minority PM

I think we would see a Black one before an Asian PM. But cant see it happening in the foreseeable future.

Being appointed a minister is a whole different ball game than being PM.
There will be desi ministers in the future, more and more desis are getting involved in politics

Don't think we'll ever see a Desi PM.
