Well as others have mentioned it does matter as to how close you live to the exchange in order to benefit fully and on that site there is even a network checker to see if it is available in your area.

UKOnline are pathetic... been with them 3months... they have yet to put me on the line i requested.

their customer service is piss poor. if u call the service line expect to wait at least an hour. unless u call in the dead of night between 3am and 6am. they never reply to Emails.

problem after problem and they do nohting unless u continually chase them ... my call has been on 'critical level' for 2 months... they keep promising to update me ... but no-one has EVER got back to me.

ADSL2 will become common in 2006 so expect all the major ISP's to offer something similar
