John Abraham ‘Spiderman’ dream may come true

Bollywood actor John Abraham, who is every girl’s dream-man, has a cherished dream of playing the role of a Spiderman and if things go as planned, then we will soon see him swinging through the city.

Reports are that producer Gaurang Doshi (Aankhen, Deewar) may assign a role similar to that of Spiderman in his next action thriller to John. Sriram Raghvan of Ek Haseena Thi fame will direct it. The female cast of the film is yet to be decided.

The dashing actor has made his mark in Bollywood by playing the role of a villain in the racy flick Dhoom.

Meanwhile John Abraham and his girlfriend Bipasha Basu will appear on Amitabh Bachchan’s popular quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati-2′, during the October 9 episode.

The two , in addition to facing a volley of questions from Mr. Bachchan , will let out a few interesting secrets , like John being very lazy in real life and also his fascination for biking and how he keeps his helmet , belt and jacket next to his bed!

ok granted this lady (whoever she might be :neutral: ) is makin wierd claims... but i agree w/ her and sum of the others on dis thread.

first off: an indian version of spiderman will be more ridiculous den anything else. i dunno if u ppl know but marvel did make an indian version of spiderman... and he had like a dhoti and pointed shoes ... and it was more silly then super-hero-ish. and esp. w/ de spiderman franchise in hollywood goin so strong... they're not gonna allow bollywood to start another franchise, because if gaurang doshi DOES want to do it... he'd have to get de rights/permission from marvel... which seems VERY unlikely.

2ndly: even if by sum miracle of God spider-man IS made in bollywood... den johnny boy wud SO be de wrong choice for de character of peter parker... he's too buff, too much of a heart throb, he has a diff image... like if I had to pick someone to be peter parker... den i'd pick someone like jimmy shergil, riteish deshmukh ... or one of those nerdy, small.... lil brother types. u know?
