Errm I just want to know whether you'd marry a girl you really, really liked had only seen her a couple of times and she was kinda related to you. To be more specific say she is your dads, nephews daughter? the point I am trying to make is you both are the same age, you have never lived with her.

I'm asking this because I have a very good mate who is in love with one. Yeah he is a really a very good mate of mine he tell me everything, like girl issues and shit.

Basically this all started like about 4 years ago when he was watching a wedding movie of his relative and he had seen this girl and kinda liked her and then he went to Pakistan and realizes she is related to him, anyway he really started falling on love with her, he would go round there house just to see her like he would make elaborate excuses saying oh errm yeah I need to see someone at there house or something like that. Anyway he kinda had a feeling she likes him to although he is not sure she is in love with him like he is in love with her.

What do ya,ll reckon he should do?

By "he" you mean *You* ? Don't get involved with people you are related to. It's not healthy for your gene pool.

Oh yeah and she looks like a hot ass bitch. Literally probably the hottest girl I have seen in Pakistan. She looks a proper Indian actress I was taken back when he showed me the movie. Yeah and she has a stutter and that makes her fucking sound so sexy its unbelievable.

No by he I mean he. However I don't believe there would be much gene contamination, also I really have to see more evidence of gene contamination from marrying close relatives. Believe me dude, if you see her the last thing on your mind will be "genes" :D

If it's GENUINE love, then the FIRST thing on your mind should be how badly the genes are gonna screw up your future kids...... trust me it WILL happen.... why do you think there are so many fucking retarded Yankee hicks living in the bible belt, right down to the American badlands and swamps in places like Alabama and Mississippi? They're all in-bred hick motherfuckers........

Depends. It's culturally acceptable in India or in Pakistan, but I don't know how it would be percieved in the US. I personally wouldn't. As far as people talking about the genes factor, someone told me that many of those so called genetic disorders were proven incorrect.

'someone told you' that genetic disorders were proven incorrect? Is this someone a biochemist? Believe me - it's NOT incorrect. Genetic defects occur very frequently when family blood is mixed. Do you want them to have kids with stumps for limbs or to be lame or slow-witted? I don't think they'd like that much.

If they have not interacted much, live 'geographically apart', and have'nt lived together / been brought up together in the same area etc, then whats the problem...
in our culture....marryin a distant relative seems kinda normal to me , it happens

Well, shit happens. I've seen, mothers marrying their daughters to their brothers sons or vise versa. I mean if thats alright in India/Pakistan then why not.

I told him to go for it, as the girls family is looking to get her married off. Soon, so I told him to get his dad to ask for the rishta.

who told you that? some stupid ass white so called "christian" who likes to inbreed his family. You clearly need to read books instead of accepting the bull**** you hear from ignoramouses. When you have two closely related people having a child, there genomes will be very simmilar so they can end up having a high frequency of homozygous recessive alleles in their offspring. Recessive alleles often lead to genetic disorders. read instead of spitting ignorant BS.

Yeh my mate's marrying his nice but she aint blood related more like his brother in laws niece so she will always call my mate her uncle but they just not blood related.

I think in this situation they aren't close relative so the worry of the future children having a disability will be a lower percentage.

If he likes her so much he might as well go for it. What's there to lose for speaking up what he wants?

The whole retarded factor is a misconception. I have seen double cousins from both sides of the family marry double cousins who end up having kids that are just fine. Kids that end up retarded are rare cases. In fact there are many cases where fathers have children with their daughters in the southern parts of the United States, and these children are actually 100% normal. The only thing that you are doing is increasing your chances of having certain disorders passed onto your children. For example, a higher chance of strokes, or diabetes being passed on.

Judging from many of the people on RD alone, I beg to differ.

In all seriousness, do they want their kids to end up looking like Flipper? (that's a dolphin, in case you don't know)

Yeh its pretty dang gross if you think about it. And its sooo crazy that these kids are so normal looking. You would never guess that it was a case of nasty incest. If fact a couple of months back they arrested this guy in I believe fresno california for living with his daughters and having sexual relations with them and then having kids with his daughters.
