for me right when i turned 21, i started thinking about having an arranged marriage. i wanted to date but not marry whom i m dating. i wanted to get married to some person my parents picked out for me in the end. however in high school & college i was so against arranged marriages. i used to tell ppl how bad they are. now i'm older and the total opposite. were any of u like this or did u guys always want arranged marriages?

first i wanted it arranged.then i didnt.n now i think its better...i guess its like if i find someone,then ok,but if i dnt,its not lke im dyin to find someone,then arrange is fine..whatever way it goes.

i am surprised that ur into arrange marriage.. ur a real lady..u can someone to ur type...i am not into arrange marriage, never was...

im for both. i wouldnt mind being in a arrange marrage. easy way to know dat both parnters want a futrue , kids and havthe same goals in life.

what do u guyz think when u say "arranged"?...its not like jst see the person once or twice n thats it..get married..in my opinion,its jst that ur parents chose the person,then u get to evaluate em before u decide to get married to whatever.

Gettin an arragned marriage if not like it used to be... Although I am still against this, it still has a higher chance of success. not b/c of the arranged part. But due to the fact that mostly ppl who have arranged marriages are more into thier Indian/Desi heritage and are willing to work through any marital problems that might arise rather than just gettin a divorce. There is also the family to help w/ any problems that might arise... But I am still against arranged marriages..... But I can understand why some ppl would prefer them...

I started wanting an arranged marriage, now I'm a bit different. If I didn't already love someone else, I'd be backing arranged marriage, but right now, I'd like to choose my own bride, but I have nothing against arranged marriages either.

grew up with arranged marriage but when I came to North America I hoped parents viewpoint would change but no luck ... and my parents expect me and the girl to be virgin until marriage ... great ... now I'm gonna be clueless as fuck on wedding night ... I bet that will turn my wife on :rolleyes:

im only 17 n unlike most of the ppl i kno tht r my age, i want my hubby chosen by my parents..but tht doesnt mean i dont wanna get to know wt hes like b4 i make my decision to get married to him..but yeh i kno desi gurlz tht have been scrwed ovr bcuz they ran away wit a guy n now their rentz dont want em back....now the guy finds this out and since the rentz wont interfere with the relationship he starts abusin her n everything cuz he knoz theres no relatives to help but yeh i would never go against my parents cuz they know best n im blind to some of the things they see
