No but when it was dubbed and voices recorded for uk audiences it seemed to have quite a few drug references.

With reference to superted, I don't believe there was a secret word, it was just an excuse for them to blow in each others ear

That only came across in the english dubbed version, the french version never had any drug references. Maybe the orginal creators made the characters with drugs in mind, but this was not transferred to french script. Although it did transfer to the english one

The 2 puppeters that played them actually got married, one was a male and one was a female so no homosexulaity there. The presenter was actually doing stand up on the rainbow show about 3 years ago and it was pretty funny. Very nostalgic
