why the hell are people turning an Islamic Conference into a pick up center?

and why do so many guys think that the ISNA is the best place to pick up girls when most of the girls are going to be (presumably) Muslims?

am i the only one who thinks this is just plain wrong?

well the conference involves the figures from the largest north american muslim community to come and give talks about Islam and Muslim's lives here in this part of the world: stuff that I would consider interesting to hear.

but if people are going to go there for alterior motives, then they should be beaten away. I would like to believe that a number of people attend the conference to sincerely benefit from the talks.
