drinking and driving

i know that this topic may seem stupid but i know of a lotta ppl that get behind the wheel after a couple drinks...and i don't like it. i've lost a lot of friends from that or i myself have driven ppl home a lot because of it. so you don't have to like admit to doing it but what do you do when your friends do it because i know most ppl's friends or family memebers drink and drive. It's a really big problem that younger ppl face and i know it's hard to be a guy and admit to not being able to get home but...i dunno what do yall think of this.

is it even something that bothers you or affects you in any way?

drunk drivers, when i think i can't drive i just stop drinkin an wait for it to wear off b4 i drive.

Well i actually dont drink, so i never run into that problem... but friends of mine do drink but they are usually more responsible than the younger 16 year olds that just got their drivers license, but i see your concern. I honestly dont really think that there is anything that can be done about this problem because the legal age for drinking is 21, but it really seems more like 16. The only solution i see is the always carry a muslim person with you when u go clubbin, we neva touch da stuff lol. (well majority of us anyway)

Pretty simple really - if yer' gonna' drive DON'T drink! Alcohol and Driving Just Do NOT Mix!

BUT: If you have had alcohol though --> DON'T risk it! Just Get a lift from someone SOBER or just take a taxi/cab --- at least you'll be alive when u reach home (the other scenario would be that you reach 'home' but NOT on this plane if ya' know what I mean :) )

To tell you the truth you would have to be a right 'GUDDA' to Drink' An' Drive :) - yeah that is fer' sure :)

Yeah drinkin' and driving is just plain stupid - don't do it! It could cost you a life -- either your's, a friends' or a relative's. You might even end up stealing away the life of a pedestrian - e.g. a kid, a pregnant woman, or even an elderly woman -- that could lead to charges of manslaughter or a sentence even worse. But even worse, imagine knowing that you've taken away someone's life ... and all just for the sake of some Vodka or whatever - You would have to live with that for the rest of your life. That would be horrible ...

Personally, I DON'T drink alcohol - I don't really see the point in it. I've never touched the stuff, and never will. [Too many reasons, can't be naffed to explain!]. One thing's for sure tho' -- there are so many other ways to have fun >>without<< consuming alcohol :) And when you're sober at a party, you can get a great laugh just WATCHING all the drunk fools who make pratts of themselves --- AND you can actually REMEMBER what happened when u wake up the next day :)
