Anyways. So when do I take them out? like when do I know they are ready? I don't want them over cooked. How long shall I leave them in the oil on gas mark "full" about 10 minutes?

let the oil really heat up then put the chips in and cook them until they r golden brown type coulour that will be bout 5-10 mins depending on how hot the oil s wen u put them in
