job interview- what do i wear?

Ok ive got an interview tomrow for a job preparin planes for flights, it says on the letter Formal interview, so should i wear or a suit or what, cus its not exactly a smart lookin job so do i have to go smart? Help me people

Ok Im late to reply but generally for any formal interviews, a gent should wear a black suit, white shirt and a dark tie. No patterns on the tie, it should be fairly plain. Black shoes and black socks obviously. No jewellery and a wristwatch. Clean shaven and comb your hair.

The reason for all this is because you want to make an impression with your personality and your CV, not your clothes. For example: say you wear a green shirt, the recruiters are more likely to remember you by the shirt than say your people skills. "That guy with the green shirt was not that good." - that's how they'll refer to you.

So by dressing boring and common, you draw their focus onto your skills and personality.
